A Welcome Letter

Welcome to Jalashree Acupuncture and Herbology! With tremendous joy, I share with you my new healing space. With both safety and your health in mind, I opened my own office on September 1st, 2020. I am thankful to each one of you for supporting my small business.

I am forever grateful to my teachers, colleagues, family, and friends for all their loving support and guidance.

We are a little over a year into the pandemic and things are finally looking more hopeful. I am fully vaccinated and know some of you are too. Truly, 2020 was a whirlwind - full of trials, tribulations, loss, and heartbreak. My heart goes out to all the families who have experienced losses and challenges. I am thankful to all the essential workers who have been at the forefront and have worked so hard to provide us with care and life’s necessities.

Most everyone has felt some level of challenge. Keeping physical and social distance is not natural, and it’s been hard. Yet, we have learned to adapt and adjust and find creative ways to connect and move forward. We have learned a great deal about our society and ourselves during these times. It seems we have a lot of work ahead. Hopefully our future will offer greater justice, equity, understanding, and acceptance. Cultivating a deeper sense of community, connection and compassion is our way towards a brighter future.

With so much to manage - working from home or office, distant/hybrid learning, caring for children or aging parents and adjusting to disrupted routines - it can be challenging to say the least. To get it all done and find a moment that is just for you is not easy.

Chinese Medicine offers a means to support your overall health and well-being. It can help you sleep better, relieve aches and pains, improve your digestion and mood, balance your immune system, and support your overall sense of well-being. When you feel better you are more able to manage stress, worry less, feel stronger, adapt more, and feel increasingly resilient. Acupuncture and other Chinese medicine therapies will help renew your body, heart, and spirit.

In addition to in-office visits, we can also connect virtually, one-on-one, heart to heart, and energetically. I will always remain available to you for a chat, support, advice, and guidance. We are in this together. One breath at a time, one moment at a time. Onwards.

I wish you all a wonderful spring season. May it be full of hope and new beginnings. I thank you for your ongoing faith and trust as we work together to support you in your healthcare journey. It is truly an honor. I hope you and yours find comfort in this loving-kindness blessing:

May you be safe. May you be healthy. May you be happy. May you be peaceful. May you live with ease and kindness each and every day.

Be well and see you soon.

With love and gratitude,

Jalashree
